3 Year Program for New Ministry Wives

ministry wives training and development

The Ministry Training and Development Wives (MT&D Wives) program is a three year program aimed at the wives of deacons (and ordination candidates) in the Sydney Anglican diocese who are in their first 3 years of ministry after completing theological college.

The program is run by a team of experienced ministry wives from a variety of churches across the diocese. Topics that are relevant for wives in the early years of ministry are addressed by a program of guest speakers. There is also time to share and pray with other wives at a similar stage, informally over morning tea and formally in small groups led by an experienced ministry wife.

We want to help wives transition well into ministry life by encouraging them to establish healthy, Word-shaped attitudes and habits that will help them to thrive, not just survive, in ministry, marriage and life.

MT&D Wives meets on a Friday morning between 9:30am and 1:00pm four times a year (once per school term) at Toongabbie Anglican Church, Corner of Binalong and Burrabogee Roads, Pendle Hill.
