Leadership as a Minister's Wife

At the 2021 Priscilla and Aquila Annual Conference, Fiona Millar gave her reflections on leadership as a minister’s wife. In particular, how it can be difficult to negotiate if you fail to recognise the blending of structural authority and relational authority that is innate to being a minister’s wife. It’s a helpful and interesting seminar to watch (below) or listen to here.

Fiona will be our key note speaker at our upcoming conference - Messy World, Mighty God - teaching us from the book of Joel. Save the date, Thursday 22nd July to Friday 23rd July at the CRU Conference Centre, Galston Gorge. Registration opens soon!

Fiona was born in Peru, the daughter of Scottish missionaries. She is married to Gary and they have three teenage daughters. After nearly two decades of parish ministry in Ireland, they moved to sunny Brisbane in 2012 for Gary to take up his role as the principal of Queensland Theological College (QTC).

The Priscilla and Aquila Centre (P&A) is a centre of Moore Theological College and was established for the encouragement of the ministries of women in partnership with men. It’s director is Jane Tooher.
